Nature of the Service

This is a private reference service for finding public agency, court, jail, corrections, and search-resource paths related to Manitowoc County and Wisconsin. It does not store official case or custody records. It cannot confirm an official status, release a person, file a document, post bond, or make an agency decision.

References to outside resources are provided for convenience. Search features may route visitors to third-party tools whose services, prices, data policies, and results are their own. The source agency remains the proper place to verify a record.

Permitted Use

Visitors agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully.

Fair Credit Reporting Act Limits

Manitowoc County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide consumer reports, credit reports, background reports, or other regulated screening services. Its partner tools are not provided through this service as FCRA-compliant reports.

Visitors agree not to use information from this service or a linked tool for hiring, firing, tenant or housing screening, creditworthiness, insurance pricing, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other purpose governed by the FCRA.

Links and Third-Party Tools

The service may link to official government portals, jail lists, police pages, court systems, corrections resources, legal-help materials, and outside search services. Those destinations have separate terms, privacy practices, content, and uptime. A link is not a promise that an outside service is accurate, available, endorsed, or appropriate for a visitor’s circumstances.

No Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. No warranty is made about accuracy, completeness, currency, uninterrupted access, security, absence of defects, or the scope of any partner result. Public records and custody information can change, and no content here is an official statement by a sheriff, court, jail, police department, or government agency.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Manitowoc County Busted Mugshots and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service or an outside link. This limit applies even if a potential loss was communicated in advance.

Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Manitowoc County Busted Mugshots, its operators, and its partners from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from that visitor’s use of the service, violation of these terms, or violation of another person’s rights.

Intellectual Property

The service’s original text, design elements, logos, graphics, and code are owned by Manitowoc County Busted Mugshots or its content partners, unless another owner is identified. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, or commercially reused without prior written permission, except where law permits.

Term Updates and Access

Wisconsin Law and Severability

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any dispute must be brought in a court within Wisconsin that has jurisdiction. If a court finds part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, that part will be adjusted only as needed, and the remaining terms will continue in effect.
